Fair Work Amendment Bill Awaiting Royal Assent

On 22 March 2021, the Fair Work Amendment (Supporting Australia’s Jobs and Economic Recovery) Bill 2020 (“the Bill”) passed the House of Representatives after amendments had been made and passed by the Senate.
The amendments were substantial – the only remaining provisions were those affecting casual employment. These provisions were detailed in an earlier publication and can be found here.
The Bill is currently awaiting Royal Assent, at which time the Bill will become law.
