More Information
Sally is a Senior Associate specialising in employment law, with more than a decade of experience advising both public and private sector clients. Her practice covers a wide range of workplace matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, investigations, disciplinary processes, and disputes involving bullying, harassment and unfair dismissal.
Known for her calm, pragmatic approach and strong communication skills, Sally works closely with clients to help them understand their legal obligations and make informed decisions. She particularly enjoys working with small to medium-sized businesses, many of whom don’t have in-house human resources support, and values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients who seek ongoing practical advice.
Sally brings a balanced perspective to her work, combining strong legal analysis with an understanding of people and workplace dynamics. Sally’s clients view her as a trusted partner – someone they can call not just during a crisis, but for ongoing guidance across the full lifecycle of employment matters.
While she is experienced in successfully guiding clients through contentious matters – including in the Fair Work Commission, Queensland Human Rights Commission and Australian Human Rights Commission – her focus is on resolving issues constructively to avoiding unnecessary escalation.
With a unique background in the performing arts, Sally is a skilled presenter and regularly delivers training and workshops on employment law topics to boards of directors, business owners, senior managers as well as entire teams. She also has a deep-rooted passion for social justice and has served on multiple not-for-profit boards and regularly invests in the community.
