Disclosure Of Rebates, Discounts And Cash Back Arrangements
Vendors of Real Property may from time to time give select Purchasers rebates, discounts or cash back incentives to purchase property.
The Queensland Law Society, after discussions with the Office of State Revenue, the Registrar of Titles and Valuation Services has recently issued a Direction to lawyers in Queensland as to how such transactions should be reported. There had previously been no such Direction and often there was no disclosure to Government Departments such as the Titles Office or Office of State Revenue of the rebate, discount or cash back given by a Vendor to a Purchaser.

Family Reports
In family law proceedings involving children, the court is being asked to make decisions about the care arrangements for children because their parents have been unable to reach an agreement.
